Jehovah was not in the wind. And after the wind, an earthquake: Jehovah was not in the earthquake.
And after the earthquake, a fire: Jehovah was not in the fire. And after the fire, a soft gentle voice. (1Kings 19:11-12)

Words of Wisdom for the Weekend {and memory challenge:Romans 1:1-17}

{Words of Wisdom for the Weekend: These are words that I have been challenged or encouraged by that I have read throughout my week that I kept pondering; words that I couldn't get off my mind and heart throughout my week.
For other Words of Wisdom for the Weekend posts see here.}

We're working on the Romans Project so I'm attempting to recite the verses I have memorized so far.

Last time, my daughter said I sounded half asleep and should have used more expression so I waited until the house was awake this time and let my voice warm up a bit. And then my girls decided to join me.

We messed up and missed a word or phrase or two, but, once again, I'm stepping out of this comfort zone--recorded my voice and posted it for others to hear--so that we may be mutually encouraged and because I am not ashamed of the gospel. It is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes!

Nothing fancy here; just staggering, amazing grace!
