Jehovah was not in the wind. And after the wind, an earthquake: Jehovah was not in the earthquake.
And after the earthquake, a fire: Jehovah was not in the fire. And after the fire, a soft gentle voice. (1Kings 19:11-12)

31 Days ~ The Writer {Day Two}

How can it hurt?

To scratch out some words?

To dig into my thoughts and pull them out to see how they take shape?

To pretend to be a writer?

All day long, thoughts flutter around and when I don't jot them down they are gone forever.

I am encouraged to pick up the pen again, to let my fingers dance along the keyboard, for really there is so much to discover I don't want to miss out!

"THE WRITER is the person willing to open all the doors of his heart, to fling wide the windows of perception, to welcome all the richness into personal experience!

THE WRITER is the person who grabs the fleeting ideas, pulls them from midair, and takes the time to analyze them until they transform into tangible reality: words written on paper to be read and reread; to be studied and restudied; to be internalized and experienced in fullest measure.

. . . the writer structures for his person the record of total blending of mind and heart"
