Who Am I? {Called} In Christ {Day 9} #31Days

God is faithful, 

by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, 

Jesus Christ our Lord. 

(1 Cor 1:9)

The grace of our calling is startling.

We, who were thirsty, were called by the Sovereign God to a beautiful salvation. His plan from eternity past has been effectively proclaimed and as sinners we responded in repentance and trust.

We, who are in Christ, have been called; received a divine invitation to embrace the salvation of God.

Our thirst is quenched in the living water, we continue to drink from His unending source of grace cascading into our lives, and we will never thirst again. 

Having peace in the promise of life eternal, with joy we will draw water from the wells of salvation.

We rest in His providence, knowing that He will complete this work in us, just as He has called us.

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. 

He did this, not because we deserved it, 

but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—

to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.
